We will not only show you how your flow meter performs. Is your flowmeter found to be outside spec? Is it defective? No problem! We have the expertise also in adjustments and repairs. And we have a large selection of spare parts in stock to do the job right. Our employee list includes experts with previous experience with well known flowmeter manufacturers. Our Service Specialists receive periodic training as part of cooperation programs we have in place with many flowmeter manufacturers. Because of our status as an independent Lab, flowmeter manufacturers in many cases trust us with their original production software to perform troubleshooting, scaling and programming. If you send us devices, we ask you to enclose the decontamination form, which you can download here.

We have extensive flowmeter knowledge and can do a lot of adjustments and repairs for you. However, tools and spare parts are not always available for all devices. If necessary, we will be happy to handle the repairs with the manufacturers for you, so that you get your devices back fully functional and calibrated.

What if the repair is no longer worthwhile?

If a repair is no longer economical, we will be happy to advise you regardless of the manufacturer and, if you wish, we can also procure your replacement devices. If required, our application consultant will be happy to come to you to record the requirements and details of your application. Contact us.

Adjustment and repairs – programming of electronics

In addition to calibration, we also carry out the mechanical and electronic adjustment of your flow measurement devices on request. Not only is the measurement error logged and calculated, it is also eliminated directly in the measuring device.

TrigasFI can perform this service for many types of flowmeters and associated electronics. Because of our status as an independent Lab, flowmeter manufacturers generally trust us with their original production software to perform troubleshooting, scaling and programming.

If you send us your complete Measurement “chain” (* – the entire data acquisition system consisting of flow metering device, sensing element and processing electronics) we can program them accordingly for you after calibration. We offer complete measurement chain calibration.

What is actually a Measuring Chain?

A data acquisition system can be viewed as measurement chain. Each link in the chain is responsible for taking some information and transforming it in some way. Why a chain? Every link has a responsibility to maintain the quality of the stage before as far as possible. One strong link cannot make up for weak links. A Measurement Chain calibration is a highly recommended option offered by TrigasFI, especially when high accuracy is required, because it takes into account all variables in the data acquisition system. Special Calibrations

As a special service for turbine flow meters from various manufacturers, we offer UVC calibrations, which include the so-called “Universal Viscosity Curve”. We calibrate your turbine flow meter in the viscosity range you require with several viscosities and use it to calculate the universal curve, according to which your linearization electronics then calculate the compensated flow value from the flow and temperature values of the sensor. Your high-precision measurement has no loss of accuracy even with fluctuating temperatures and therefore fluctuating viscosities.
